Strong very deep earthquake in between Fiji and Tonga - March 9, 2018

As it is middle of the night in this area at the moment of the earthquake, we believe that most of the people will not have felt it. This earthquake looks spectacular, but isn't as the breaking point (hypocenter) is located in the deep solid hot mantle of the earth.
