Nearly all children will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccines by the first quarter of 2022, Fauci says

Dr Anthony Fauci said he believes that nearly all children in the U.S. will be able to receive COVID-19 vaccines by 2022. He added that he thinks vaccines will be available earlier for high schoolers, who may be able to be vaccinated before the new school year. Multiple vaccine manufacturers are running clinical trials on children including Pfizer and Moderna. Ten days ago, Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech asked the FDA to expand emergency use authorization of their vaccine to 12-to-15 year olds.
